Rocky Mountain Frosting


From Betty
Combine in top of double boiler:

2 egg whites
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup light corn syrup
2 TBS. water
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

Cook over rapidly boiling water. Mix with rotary beaters until frosting stands in peaks. Remove from heat and add 1 tsp. vanilla. Frost your favorite cake; such as chocolate cake.
